Green Island stands as a distinguished seafront facility within TEC's portfolio, positioned along the Arabian Gulf Road. Established in 1988, this landmark became the inaugural artificial island of its kind across the entire GCC region. Encompassing an area of approximately three kilometers, Green Island stands as a distinctive outdoor entertainment and leisure destination in Kuwait.
One of its notable features is an artificial lake, sourced from the waters of the Arabian Gulf. Surrounded by expansive walkways and nestled amidst serene greenery, the lake offers visitors a picturesque setting. The 35-meter-high tourist tower provides panoramic views of the island, along with breathtaking vistas of the Arabian Gulf and the Kuwait City skyline.

Noteworthy amenities include a Roman amphitheater with a seating capacity exceeding 700, suitable for various performance events. Beyond its role as a recreational space, Green Island is a versatile venue suitable for public or private events, including performances, shows, and musical events at the Roman amphitheater. Rentals of One Wheel, Pony cycles, small and large Tuktuk rides are also available within the premises.
It is imperative to note that barbecuing is strictly prohibited within Green Island.
